Proposal 2#
Theme: Unclear self-image or direction in the future.
This shooting requires a mirror to be present. With it, water is poured over the frame to preserve the reflections. However, by quickly tapping the water, I’d control the water ripples to distort the visual reflection of myself captured in the photo. The mirror will stay flat on the ground to ensure the water doesn’t spill. However, by shooting downwards, holding myself up, and then cropping the image so that my lower half won’t show, I can create an illusion where the mirror looks like it's hanging from a wall. This effect can be accomplished from several angles with a tripod as long as it doesn’t showcase my legs. This shoot will take place in a mostly blank, open, minimalistic space for both a sense of aimlessness and so that the mirror/model will be the center of the shot.
