The second idea is to take extreme close up of seams inside of clothing. This idea is relatively simple and is inspired from my love of fashion. I want to take different garments ranging from high end, fast fashion, to homemade. During a clothing construction I was encouraged to look at clothes in store to get a better understanding of how garments are constructed.

The idea behind this comes from the idea that clothing can have various amounts of effort put into them. There are fast fashion garments that will fall apart after one wash but the high end or homemade ones that last generations. You can tell how much time was spent just by looking at the way the seams are made. Clothes are something we wear daily, wouldn’t you want someone to put lots of care and time into it?
