"Archived Memories" is a tribute to my grandparents, who played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today. Using projection, I layered old photographs of them onto a book to create a trompe-l'œil effect. This approach symbolizes the act of turning intangible memories into something tangible and enduring, much like the stories and values they passed down to me. My grandparents raised me with love and care, leaving me with cherished memories that continue to guide me. This project holds special meaning as both of them have passed away—my grandmother in 2016 and my grandfather this year. Through this work, I aim to honor their legacy and reflect on the enduring connection between memory, love, and the physical objects that help us preserve them.
