When I first envisioned this series, I was excited about using the dynamic landscape of urban architecture to convey a sense of unity. My initial idea centered around capturing utility poles scattered throughout Tucson, framing them so that their wires would align in a mesmerizing way when printed. With backgrounds showcasing the diverse settings of Tucson—from lush grasslands to bustling downtown hubs and winding roads—I aimed to encapsulate the essence of community.
However, while exploring the vibrant streets of downtown Tucson, I stumbled upon the legendary Blue Line Trail! This captivating 2.5-mile loop was painted with great intention to highlight various regions of the city. Walking along the trail, I was thrilled to witness the rich tapestry of communal diversity that Tucson has to offer. To truly capture this exhilarating blend of unity and community, I set out to document several differing moments and locations that follow the Blue Line Trail. To encapsulate my intention, I made sure the line had the greater saturation so that the pathway connecting each of these regions would be emphasized first.
