An old sprite webcomic from the early 00s about what video game characters do after you stop playing the game. Eventually develops into a full-on epic saga complete with animated fight scenes and MIDI music. I guess it's sort of like a low-tech proto-Homestuck, except it's also short enough to read the full thing in a few days. Recommend!

Also, the technical details of how he made the comic load fast over the very slow connections of the day are pretty interesting.
