Disney Licensing Website
This Disney page on its intellectual property licensing is the opposite of a really cool website. When I first found this site, I assumed it was a fake. Surely a multibillion dollar media company with hundreds of thousands of employees has the resources to make something better than this crappy Wordpress site.
My guess is that the crappiness is the point, that Disney is trying to make it as hard as possible to use any of its IP. I think that would line up with how they have changed copyright law to their benefit.

Lynn Fisher-creator of many cool websites
Lynn Fisher is a web designer who has created several really cool websites including one for fake movies within movies, and a The Good Place fan site. She also keeps an archive of her portfolio sites dating back to 2007. In some ways, I think her 2007 site is the easiest to navigate of the bunch.
Ejection Site
Another 90s website that's still being actively maintained. This time it is a site with ton of esoteric information about ejection seats. Also that URL is unbeatable
Aaxa Projectors
A company that makes battery LED pico projectors. I own the Aaxa P7 projector. It is the most important piece of gear I own, and I don't think my photography practice would have been successful without it. That projector has survived years of abuse in terrible outdoor conditions and still works great. I can't imagine there are many other people who use that projector for what I use it for, but for me it has been the perfect crutch and technical support for my photography.
Heaven's Gate
The recruitment videos are campy and the website is endearingly queer as hell, but it's also ... a death cult. An absolutely wonderful awful horrible little time capsule.
Space Age Pop
A website that has been online since 1997 covers everything you could possibly want to know about 1950s space age pop, which is kind of like elevator music, except much weirder and better. The 1950s were a strange decade and this music best exemplifies the bizarre kitschy culture of the time.
