In this series, I explore the interplay between reflection, perception, and constructed space through the use of framed mirrors. The mirrors serve as both objects and portals—challenging the boundary between tangible reality and illusion. The ornate wooden frames, adorned with hand-painted tiles, evoke a sense of tradition and craftsmanship, juxtaposed with the ever-changing images captured within their surfaces.
Through careful positioning, I allow the mirrors to frame elements of the natural and built environment. The sky, architecture, and surrounding landscapes become momentary compositions, shifting with the viewer’s position and perspective.
