Project 1 Statement: New Typologies
To explain/summarize the idea/content of the project, it is glamour shots including myself and my older sister who was a huge inspiration for my glam identity and makeup journey in front of my makeup vanity in my room. The content of the project is to represent the current side of my artist career that was out of art, singing, writing video editing, audio editing, playing instruments etc. makeup was the most successful at least in my influencer career online. All of these other artistic talents and strengths all were what I have been using for my artist career but makeup is what formed my physical identity such as my styled hair, glam clothes, glam shoes, jewelry, weight loss etc. which all started coming together from the start of the most successful art form in my career, which was makeup. To refine and evolve from my initial proposal writing, which stated that my identity came from this evolution of manga artist to adding on makeup artist, my vanity in shot in the composition represents the light of a makeup artist to shine from the celebrity lights leading towards the inspiration to be bright. The beauty, makeup, fashion etc. shows that I invested in my body and self image to represent who I am currently and the portion of my life being youthful yet strong in my artistic creativity.
