Project 2 Statement: Surrounded, Enveloped, Besieged
To explain/summarize the idea/content of the project, it is a series of photographs of landscapes that portray the youthful memories and peaceful environment of the recreational park near my home that is unique to me because it has my childhood memories. The content of the project is to represent from the color story of natural colors such as the color of the green grass, to the neutral browns of the earthy tones, to the beautiful yet unique to me and my twin sister and Mom of pinks, along with the blue skies will represent the color story of beautiful youthful memories as a child.
To refine and evolve from my initial proposal writing, here is a portion of the proposal “the technique of using a park that most people go to in their childhood and imagery of the pathway on the right will be walking towards the peaceful environment.” In this statement there is the evolution of the idea of the peaceful place, with the love of the family lifestyle in the photographer’s youthful memories that makes the peaceful environment, with the peaceful family cohesively come together as one. In conclusion, the safe and beautiful park in the neighborhood unique to the artist behind the photos for the landscape brings together the location of love, peace and beauty to the “full circle” of the encompassed youthful safety in times of childhood memories.
