the way that the whole thing works is that there's a gem / crystal in a chandelier on the ceiling in the grand foyer. and it radiates this sort of...ray, idk. and it sort of alters the women's dna to respond to its rays. it prolongs their growth period so they become much taller than they would be otherwise?

and this is why coraline is shorter than her sisters - the divorce between her parents stunted her growth by having a shorter period of exposure to the crystal? jade spent a lot of time at home, so she grew taller than her sisters/mom?

but aurel had some mutation/alteration that caused his body to start responding to the crystal much stronger? and start to grow even when he's matured? everything feels like a stretch and nothing is remotely plausible. why.

you know you're having a day when you make several different versions of the same character for a demon slayer au. you have not finished demon slayer! you're only at volume 5! but you could not control your brain.
and so now talloran is just James and he's gotten caught up in a time travelling experiment. and it went horribly wrong. and now he's about to get mauled by demons. and he takes two katanas, nichirin swords, off fallen demon slayers. and as time feels slow, he slices the neck of the beast, guessing it's a weak point, or enough to kill. the blades shift colors to black and white. and as he's found with the shifting blades, he's told that the blades accepted him as their new wielder.
and James begins to bend the flow of time to his will. able to speed it up and slow it down, reverse or stop it entirely. (mostly) befriending the main cast, and joining in on wild misadventures. trying to get back to his original time - and his beloved.

But as I look up to give a reply, I'm reminded of the fact that I'm craning my neck just to see his face. He leans his monstrously large frame over me with only a slight slouch, and doesn't notice when I back up. I try to look away, but he knits his hands in a basket and his hands are the size of my face. Eventually, he steps away from me, but I feel light-headed.

I was trying to come up with ways to kill him, put bluntly. I sort of looked at him and said, well? What can you possibly do to a boy who's become an extraordinarily strange predatory alien superorganism? And I realized it's extremely difficult to damage him by any normal means. Literally nothing a sane person could try to do to kill him is going to work, realistically considering his capabilities, his limits, and what people would try given such a thing.

So he's harmed with extreme temperatures, I settle on.

So now I'm stuck with the shot of someone shoving the nozzle of a fire extinguisher down his throat. Great. Just fantastic.

his body is chock-full of muscles he doesn't know how he got due to his amnesia. despite picking up names here and there to get by, he doesn't know his real one. he often uses extra tentacles around his arms as an extra pair of hands. he has a custom-made coat that allows him easy usage of his eldritch limbs, but doesn't know where or when he got it. it took him a long time to first get used to being able to manifest tentacles, spikes and other such things, but now he seems more or less used to it...save for the rare case of them appearing unwillingly while he's in public. it's noted by some who see him up close that his appearance as a true monster is sometimes all wrong. when he's a bird, his legs still bend forward, giving the impression of human legs. he can't actually alter his human frame, but he can add to it however he wants.
