This photo series would use the golf course I work at/a golf course in general as the landscape. The subjects that would be included in the series would be the different types of landscape/natural aspects on the course (trees, ponds, washes, sand traps, etc.), different parts of the actual holes (tee boxes, greens, flag sticks, golf carts), and also the pro shop (inside, outside, parking lot, bathrooms). All of these different aspects of the course would come together nicely to create an aesthetically pleasing photo series that would also accurately portray the location. I think for the composition I would have a wide frame of view showing lots of the landscape and surrounding areas in each image showing nice uniformity of the location. I think that color images would look good, but I think that black and white images would also show connectedness of the landscape super well.
I intend my photographs to convey an escape from reality, a location where people go to relieve their stress and forget their responsibilities. A place that is green and serene existing in our hot desert environment. I will try to convey this idea of an escape by taking these images in the absence of life (other people, animals, etc.) and making sure the focus of the photos is on the actual landscape and golf course as a location and not other distracting subjects.
